TRAILO 2 STAGE - ECTO 5 - TrailO/PreO - LUŽEC 21.06.2015.

INFORMATIONS

PLACE: LUŽEC Natural Park, Oštrice, Novi Marof

MAP: LUŽEC – NORTH 1: 5 000, E=5m, 2011 (renewed in 2015 near the control points), ISSOM

TERRAIN:  Forest terrain along a road (used by vehicals) accessible to wheelchair users. 
CLASSES: E OPEN, E PARA, E JUNIOR, A, N

FIRST START: 13:00, according to the organizer's instructions at the competition center

START LIST: Will be published later. Competitors who arrive later or participate at footO event and miss their start will be allowed to compete, provided they arrive before the closing of start/end of competition. Competition will be open at minimum untill 16:00 but may be prolonged by organizer as needed
WARM UP: MODEL. Model event will be available near the start.

ADDITIONAL ENTRIES: Additional entries will be accepted at the event center.

DISTANCE FROM FINISH TO START: 10-15 minutes by car.

Competition area is dislocated from competition centre. There will be organized transport from the competition centre to the terrain. Please be at the competition centre at least half an hour before your start and listen to the organizers' info about transport.

Athletes with disabilities can use their vehicles in the convoy of vehicles. The first convoy starts at 12:30 and the rest on arrival of vehicles (approximately every half hour). Follow the instructions of the organizers. Boarding priority is according to the start list.

EMBARGO: It is forbidden to enter the competition area and move along the course before competition.  In case of violation, organizer reserves the right of suspension.

MAP PROTECTION: Maps will be printed on waterproof paper.

START NUMBERS: Bibs/start numbers, provided by organizers, should be visible on competitors.

FINISH: After finishing the course, competitors will give the one copy control card to the organisers.

REFRESHMENTS: Water at start and finish area.

CLEANLINESS: Please dispose trash in placed bags.

WC: Toilets are available only at the competition centre (picnic area Lužec). In case of need, you may use the forrest (ask the organizers which area is allowed).

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION

Time controls (two time stations) are set before the start. There is a short steep part of the track on the way to time controls - help will be organized to all who need it.

Only main paved road is allowed.

No decision point for A-only flags. Any puncher nearby may be used.

Time limit for the course: 90 min (E), 60 min (A)

Zero answers:
- if the flag is not at the correct feature
- as always, there is no absolute accuracy: original map was footO 1:10000; minimum distance from the flag to the correct position is at least 2-3m (if you estimate the correct position to be about 1m away from the placed flag, that is definitely NOT a zero answer)

No zero answers at time controls

Category A may have up to 2 zero answers. No limit for category E.
Use of mosquito repellent is strongly suggested.

Solutions will be given out after the last start. For those who depart earlier, solutions will be available on the next day(s).
